For 2014

So I've been offline for a while. Been dealing with some personal shit that has consumed my life. It's put me in a place so dark that not even my writing pulls me from it. I didn't want to infect my writing with my darkness, so I put it to the side. Although I'm still in that place, I think I'm ready to write again. So I'll talk to you'll later.

  1. Hi Illyanna, I also use the G+ account +Dave G. I've missed you online, especially your great posts of your thoughts on romance writing and reading. I know it's hard. I don't even want to imply that it will get easier in a jiffy if you just write, but I have found writing great therapy sometimes. And romance writing can be the perfect forum to project emotion into our characters. Anyway, I wish you all the best in the coming year and if you'd like a friend to talk to, please write to me: Also, if you are on Twitter, let me know - I'd like to follow you. Take care! :)

    1. Hi +Dave G thanks for the post. One of the reasons I stopped write was because I didn't want it to reflect my feeling. I was/am in just to bad a place. But now I think maybe writing is what I need to shift my mood. If my writing changes let me know. I do gave a twitter account but for the life of me I'm still trying to figure it out. Not very social media savy, and I'm from the Facebook generation.....

    2. Hi, Illyanna, thank you for your response. I'm sorry to hear about your tough time, but I'm also happy to hear that you have decided to return to writing. I'll let you know if I notice a change in your writing. :) Have you considered writing poetry to supplement your regular writing? Sometimes that can be a good writing outlet. About Twitter, I find it better than FB, but it also took me a little while to figure out how it works and what was unique about it. Now I find it the perfect place to share my writing and connect with other authors around the world. You could share your blog posts with followers and get more readers. If you decide to try it, look me up at @DaveGoodlove. Hope to keep in touch with you. :)
